Orange Beautiful was our first stop where I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with owner Emily Martin. Orange Beautiful is a small design studio specializing in stationery and letterpress greetings cards for different occasions. While we were there, we picked up a bunch of goodies. A type inspired limited edition 2009 calendar, a couple of buttons, and hand screen-printed holiday greeting cards printed with magenta and silver inks. Not only do they produce great work but, they also design all of the packing too.

Dolan Geiman is a mixed media artist who creates original paintings, collages, and limited-edition reproductions from salvaged wood, found objects, and other recycled materials.

Figs & Ginger is a husband and wife team out of Asheville, North Carolina making eco-friendly sterling silver jewelry. Each piece is made by hand in their back yard studio and much of their work is inspired by the simple beauty found in forests, both imaginary and real.
