Retail: Puma City

Puma's mobile concept store and event space.
Puma City, designed by LOT-EK architecture, is an 11,000-square-foot mobile concept store and event space. Puma City contains a full Puma retail store, offices, a bar, lounge and an outdoor terrace area.

The building was constructed from 24 refurbished shipping containers. Three stacks of containers, shift to create an internal outdoor space, large overhangs and terraces. To travel, Puma City must be dismantled and transported on a special cargo ship; it will be assembled and disassembled a number of times once it reaches the different international harbors.

Puma City’s reaches Boston harbor in early May 2009. If you happen to be in the area, check it out.
